Leprino’s Zero Tolerance approach to food safety goes beyond compliance, embedding rigorous risk assessment, proactive management, and continuous improvement into every aspect of its operations. Through long-standing partnerships with organizations such as the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy, Leprino helps strengthen food safety across the dairy industry by contributing to shared knowledge, tools, training and best practices.
Beyond its own operations, Leprino helps advance food safety across the dairy industry through employee contributions to science-based publications and guidance documents. Contributions include pathogen control, listeria monocytogenes prevention and hygienic separation in dairy processing environments.
Most recently, Leprino employees contributed to the Innovation Center’s June 2026 publication, “Advanced Testing Methods to Enhance Product Safety.” The guide helps dairy manufacturers understand and make the most of advanced testing technologies to strengthen monitoring, accelerate investigations and support informed decision-making.
